These are some key events from...all of that stuff. We have to know all this is the right order so....
First is
The Proclamation of 1763
That was a law
It stated that colonists could not settle land over there in the west
This is why the FRENCH AND INDIAN war was fought
Second was
The Stamp Act
This was a Tax
It put taxes on all printed material
This was the kings war of trying to pay for the French and indian war
This was in 1765
Third was
The Boston Massacre
The colonists in Boston started taunting the British soldiers
So the soldiers shot at the colonists, causing a massacre
Fourth was
The Boston Tea Party
Samuel Adams and Paul Revere Started this
They Threw tea into the Boston harbor, protesting tea taxes
Fifth was
The First Continental Congress
Delegstes from all colonies met
The discusted problems with England
Then they started talking about Independance
Sixth
The Battle of Lexington and Concord
The first armed confilct
Started the Revolutionary war
seventh
The Approval of the Declaration Of Independance
We all know what this is, but just incase, this was when colonists declared independance from England
We know the date....July 4th, 1776 (the fourth of July, fire crackers, cookouts?)
eighth
The Battle of Saratoga
An American Victory (We won)
The turning point in the revolutionary war
ninth
Surrender at yorktown
The colonial victory
This was the End of of the revolutionary war (YAY WOOHOO...not)
Cornwallis surrendered to our, very own, GEORGE WASHINGTON
